Special screening with filmmaker Robert Morin in attendance
Over the course of a day, from one sleep to the next, three women and three men from Africa find their way into Rome; Patience and Joan in squats, Destiny, Steve, and Souleymane in apartments, and Mamadou in a park. Their emotional states mirror those of postwar Romans as depicted by the neorealist movement. But beyond the eras, the will to live - and, what's more, in the so-called Eternal City - grants them a right that is itself eternal.
