Special screening with filmmaker Mohamed Mesbah in attendance, followed by a discussion hosted by Samy Bennamar
This program brings together three short films-two produced in 2025 and one in 2018-to explore the question of Palestinian resistance in both its practical and ideological dimensions. From the work of developer Rasheed Abueideh to the issue of boycott, these films highlight the importance of memory as a means of shaping contemporary forms of action. The program is presented by Mohamed Mesbah, director of STILL PLAYING awarded at the Locarno Film Festival, along with filmmaker and critic Samy Benammar.

INTERSECTING MEMORY (Shayma' Awawdeh, France/Palestine, 21 minutes)
Palestine, in the occupied territories, during the Second Intifada, fear, siege, and death shape every moment in the city of Hebron. Moments from the past resurface through childhood memories, entangled with collective memory. As everything continues and repeats itself, what do we remember? What has been forgotten?
I SIGNED THE PETITION (Mahdi Fleifel, Germany/Switzerland/UK, 10 minutes)
Immediately after a Palestinian man signs an online petition, he is thrown into a panic-inducing spiral of self-doubt. Over the course of a conversation with an understanding friend, he analyses, deconstructs and interprets the meaning of his choice to publicly support the cultural boycott of Israel.
STILL PLAYING (Mohamed Mesbah, France/Palestine, 21 minutes)
West Bank, summer 2024. Rasheed, a video game creator, tries to raise his two sons amid Israeli army raids and the war in Gaza. At night, he creates games where mothers and fathers can no longer protect their children.
