For our 8th QCCMTL evening, and in honor of HIV/AIDS Awareness Month we are screening David France's How to Survive a Plague, a powerful exploration of activism and resilience, it chronicles the fight for survival in the face of the AIDS epidemic. Following the story of ACT UP and TAG (Treatment Action Group), this Oscar-nominated documentary reveals how a determined community, despite the odds, pressured the government, reshaped the medical landscape, and changed history. Join us in revisiting the voices and courage of those who paved the way, transforming despair into action.

*Nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Academy Award (2013)
