Carlobianchi and Doriano are penniless petty crooks in their fifties, with larger-than-life personalities. They drift through the bars and backstreets of their Veneto hometown, live on memories, small schemes, and the hope of unearthing cash an old friend once hid.
When they meet Giulio, a shy, drifting architecture student, they take him along on a rambling trip through the Venetian plains. What begins as a search for buried money turns into days of shared stories, countless drinks, and a bond none of them knew they might have been missing.
