At a time when music is constantly skipped, shuffled, and pushed into the background, Obscura, presented in collaboration with Qobuz, invites you to slow down and return to the essence of listening: experiencing an album from beginning to end, in complete darkness, without distraction.
For this edition, Obscura presents
The Dark Side of the Moon – 20th Anniversary 2023 Remaster by Pink Floyd.
Released in 1973, this iconic album explores time, money, madness, and the human condition through a work conceived as a continuous sonic journey. Heartbeats, analog synthesizers, tape loops, voices, guitars, and soundscapes flow seamlessly into one another, creating an immersive experience that has shaped music history.
The 2023 remaster allows the album to be rediscovered with renewed depth, clarity, and dynamic range.
Ic3y Mag and Cinéma Moderne invite you to experience the album in a carefully calibrated cinema room. Upon arrival, you will be given an eye mask to intensify the experience and encourage a direct, unfiltered connection with the music. No visuals. No screens. Only sound, breathing, and darkness.
The room becomes a suspended listening chamber where distractions disappear and emotions emerge.
This session is presented in collaboration with Qobuz, a streaming and download platform founded in 2008 and known for its exceptional sound quality. Qobuz was one of the first services in the world to offer CD-quality and Hi-Res streaming, with a simple mission: to respect music by allowing people to hear it in the best possible conditions, as close as possible to what the artists and producers intended.
